Wondermama @ Bangsar Village 1

Met up with my friends at Bangsar for lunch 2 weeks ago. Decided to check out Wondermama since I've heard great reviews about it :) As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I immediately fell in love with the deco :D

Watermelon Fizz Popsicle and Asam Boi with 7Up!
I love sour stuff, so asam boi and 7Up was a great combo for a refreshing drink especially with the crazy hot weather...

 Ais Kacang
Friend said it was so-so. I still prefer ais kacang from the roadside xD Somehow, something always feel missing from the ones in most restaurants. It's like they never get it right. But if any of you come across awesome ice kacang, do let me know because I would love to try ;)

 Black Spider Fried Rice!
Scary name...but it's actually soft shell crab xD

Kimchi Sliced Beef Burger
This caught my eye while I was browsing through the menu. Looked pretty interesting so I decided to try it. Plus, I love kimchi :) Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The sauce was salty as well as the beef. Presentation of the food was creative but wasn't practical to me. The width of the plate was pretty small, so I had a hard time cutting it to pieces and hoping that it would not fall out. Though I took out the salad cup?...it didn't help much.

I had a great time at Wondermama even though the food I had didn't amaze me. It's the company that counts. Plus Wondermama gave a homey and friendly feeling, so I would be back next time to check out more of their dishes.

I was attracted by the cakes on display! Too bad I was stuffed. Shall try their cakes during my next trip for tea time maybe? :) For those who have been to Wondermama, do let me know what's good there :)
