Treated my parents dinner at Ben's in Pavilion on Father's Day.

Pretty cosy environment.

Deconstructed Thai Beef Salad, RM26.90
A pretty decent portion for starters which is refreshing and not too filling to proceed to the main course. Love the sweet & sour sauce which opens up your appetite.

IMG_4149
Basil Pesto Spaghettini, RM18.90
The basil sauce is definitely yummy but can be quite filling after a while.

IMG_4151
Beef Lasagne, RM18.90
It doesn't look that good in this picture but it's mouthwatering with the tasty cheese and fresh tomato sauce.

After meal, it's time for dessert!

IMG_4155
Macadamia Cheesecake Sundae, RM10.90
This would be a good dessert to be shared as it can get pretty filling with the amount of cheesecake given. It would be perfect if they gave more vanilla ice cream :)

IMG_4156
Lemon Meringue Cake, RM9.90
The sour taste is not too overpowering which is good for after meals. It somehow suppresses the feeling of being bloated and full :)

Found a recipe in a stack of cards on the card holder. Might make this for the weekends next time :D

Overall, Ben's provides a new variety and refreshing food in their menu. The food is nice and I guess this would be one of my frequent food joints to visit in the future. But the staff service can be improved as their service are quite slow sometimes.

Ben's is located at:
Level 6, Pavilion,
Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

Some picture taken from my Samsung Galaxy Ace:

On a side note, crossed over to Sephora to have a look but it was quite a let down as the space is pretty small although the architecture looks nice on the outside. The one in Singapore is so much bigger and I guess they didn't bring in all the brands to Msia.

Jogoya with Inniters @ Starhill Gallery, KL

Went to Jogoya a few weeks back with a few bloggers for a get-together and a makan session :)
Girls had half price discount so you can eat all you want!

Sushi, sashimi, oysters and many more food are available at Jogoya. There are even Western and Chinese food.

Took a plate a sashimi and nomz it down :D

Forgotten what dish is this called cause I was busy eating :P

Crab

Lobster

Linguine Cheese Crab

Though I enjoyed my sashimi, the standard of food had obviously dropped from the last time I visited Jogoya :( After the main course we had desserts! I think I ate about 5 scoops of ice cream? :P Haagen Dazs and New Zealand Natural...om nom nom (^.^)V

Wore my Nordic printed top from Bluey Joyce to liven up the Christmas mood :)
Glossy Addiction studded bag and Oh Popsicles! studded shoes.

Oh..almost forgotten about this. I took the KTM to KL and when I was talking to the train station with with my earphones on listening to music...this taxi uncle went and said 'ya..pakai terang-terang' wtf  =.=

Picture with the girls after dinner.

Camwhored with Tikkos, Xing, YY, Jessica and Jackie

YY and Jackie left after dinner and the rest of us walked outside Pavilion area to take a few pics for fun.

Dazzling Christmas @ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

It was a public holiday yesterday as it was Hari Raya Aidiladha, so I decided to head off to KL again. Yesterday marked my second visit to UNIQLO since their opening. I had 2 more RM20 vouchers left to spend so I bought a tee and my mom bought a jegging. Not much choices of tees left, most were pretty crappy and in huge sizes. All the nice ones were sold off already. Bumped into Inessa and her mom in UNIQLO :)

Walked around Fahrenheit 88 after shopping in UNIQLO and had lunch at Room Eighteen. The service was really slow as they were understaffed and had to wait for about 20 minutes even though there were 3 empty tables which were not cleaned yet.

Seems that Christmas has arrived early this year with all the Christmas deco up at Fahrenheit 88 and Pavilion respectively. But of course, the ones at Pavilion is spectacular as always.
(L-R) Christmas trees at: Fahrenheit 88, Pavilion KL, Shu Uemura's Christmas tree inside Pavilion.

Many people were taking pics of the X'mas deco in Pavilion so me and my mom camwhored :P

This year's theme is really well done and it's as though you're transformed into the magical and glorious land of Christmas :D

Mistletoe Berries

Angel

Overexposed the picture and loved the effect :)

Lovely ain't it? :)

Exhausted after walking around Pavilion, so we headed for coffee at Espressamente Illy. Dad came and joined us after his meeting.

Watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and found the movie pretty alright. Not as exciting as I thought it would be, perhaps part 2 would be intense. The show is saturated with dialogues and also showed some great sceneries and with less action this time.

Christmas lights are up at night so headed for another session of photo taking :P

More mistletoe berries.

I'm pretty obsessed with those white colour trees decorated with 'frosts' around because they are just so pretty! :D

I really need to create my bokeh shapes kit soon!

More deco along the walkway.

Deco at Lavender

Looking at these photos made my Christmas spirit hyper. Feeling so excited already even though there's still about a month away. Happy Early Christmas :D

Konnichiwa UNIQLO! - UNIQLO Malaysia Grand Opening @ Fahrenheit 88

DSC_0092(2)
Finally, the long awaited Japanese brand UNIQLO is here in Malaysia! 4th of November marks the launch of its first store in Malaysia at Fahrenheit 88. UNIQLO Malaysia is the largest outlet in Southeast Asia which is 3 storeys high!

Me and Sharmayne decided to be gung ho/crazy and do something that we've never done before, which is to line up in the early morning. Shasha came to my place at 6am and surprisingly we reached KL in just 25 minutes! If only the traffic could be this smooth everyday... Parked the car and searched for the queue to start lining up. About 100 people were there already when we reached, some even came since last night! =O

Since we have like 4-5 hours to kill, brought along The Lost Symbol to read and also sweet potato for breakfast :)

crowdmorning
More and more people started pouring in as time pass. The line even reached to the back of the mall. Some attempted to cut queue and kudos to UNIQLO's management for solving the problem :)

Happy to be an early bird to stand a chance to win a trip to Japan :)

Shasha wants to win too!

After the launch, we finally get to go in store to check out UNIQLO's products! *frenzy mode on*

counter-n-bag
Staffs giving away free tote bag for the first 1000 customers. The staffs were on high spirit greeting everyone and they're friendly too :) Shasha was saying they were injected with Happy Serum or something. LOL.

winter clothes
They have a lot of pretty winter wear this season. Affordable too :)
Too bad Malaysia is hot, hot, HOT!

Queuing up for the changing room. Sooo many people!

neat to messy
Since UNIQLO is having a special promotion starting today till Sunday, everyone was rushing to get something. Check out the original state and the aftermath as more people came in!

DSC_0045(2)
Messy kan? Like war zone xD

DSC_0047(2)
Waiting for pay for our items. Unfortunately, the jeans on promotion at RM49.90 doesn't seem to have a nice cut and fit. Changed to a few smaller size but it didn't go to well. Didn't get it in the end. Managed to use some RM20 voucher from GO UNIQLO. Too bad I didn't bring all of them. sheesh.

aftershopping
Happy shoppers! We thought we spend quite a long time in UNIQLO but it was only about an hour and a half. Felt that the ladies outfits wasn't much of a choice. Not my style =\ Ended up getting some tee's from the guys section.

crowdafter
Flabbergasting! There were tons of people queuing up during noon as well which will probably last till the night. UNIQLO must have earned quite a number today...

Still can't hide our joy! We're relief that we actually came at 6.30am if not we'll end up god knows where at the back of the line waiting for hours to get in.

DSC_0071(2)
Walked around Fahrenheit 88 and purchased more stuff.

DSC_0085(2)
Sucky Korean food at Pavilion's foodcourt. KimchiHaru ftw!

DSC_0090(2)
Random street shot while waiting to cross the road.

Let's see the damage I've done today :(
shirts
3 T-shirts for the brother from UNIQLO / Owl shirt from Chapter 8

clothesnjewelry
UNIQLO shirts, fleece jacket, leggings! Some of the leggings are only at RM9.90! Rings and earrings from DooDleaccessories.

DSC_0054(2)
My thought of UNIQLO is that the items there are okay. Maybe because most of the collection now are for winter. Not much ladies wear that suited my taste. Shall wait for the next season. Till then, adios :)
