Coffee Stain by Joseph @ Publika

I'm sure most of you have already visited or known about this coffee place :) My friend and I decided to pop by Coffee Stain by Joseph after our brunch session in Publika as we have heard about the amazing coffee art that they produce!

Dessert @ Ben's, Publika

It's always a delight to have desserts at restaurants by The Big Group like Ben's, Plan B, Journal by Plan B and T Forty Two etc. Stopped by Ben's at Publika for dessert after our usual family dinner :)

Flat White, RM7.90

Berrific Sundae, RM11.90

Sinful sundae filled with berries and chocolate sauce

Lemon Meringue Tart, RM10.90
Dad's favourite. Loads of cream but he usually just skip it because it'll be too sweet.

Banana Peach Crumble, RM12.90

New found love of the day! Filled with peach in the middle, it is heated up before it is served with ice cream at the side. Overflowing goodness :D

Red Velvet, RM11.90
Our usual family favourite. Red velvet is moist and has a thin layer of chocolate in between. Topped with cream cheese :D Nom nom all the way!

P.S - Try the T2 Gorgeous Geisha tea if you are at Ben's or any other The Big Group restaurants. It's my personal favourite :D Green tea infused with strawberry and cream!

Ante Kitchen & Bar @ Publika

Saw lots of good review regarding Ante Kitchen & Bar on blogs while searching for places to eat at Publika. Was deciding between S.Wine and Ante for my mom's birthday dinner. In the end, we chose Ante because they have more food choices. Would try S.Wine one day too! Saw tons of nice food there :D

Anyway, back to Ante. The place is cosy and nice :)

Corona Extra, RM21 | Passionfruit Mojito, RM12

I think the waiter said that the other beers were out of stock or the beer tap was spoiled. Only the Corona Extra was available. The passionfruit mojito was refreshing, very flavourful too. But my personal preference will be the mojito from Ole-Ole Bali. haha...

Smoked Duck Salad, RM23

The salad was alright. I've tasted better smoked duck.

One of the dishes that I enjoyed. Crispy bacon and spicy sausages :D

Signature Chorizo & Bacon, RM27
This pizza was definitely everyone's favourite dish of the night. Filled with bacon, pork, tomato puree and loads of cheese :D

The Hogger Pork Ribs, RM75

The meat was succulent, but I was relatively disappointed by the sauce. Even my parents agreed that Tony Roma's sauce was better. And the fries was meh...

With the amount of good reviews online, I was left disappointed by the food at Ante Kitchen & Bar that night. Only the pizza made an impression on our taste buds. Waiters were friendly though. Maybe I'll try their famous Char-grilled Pork Steak next time! Seems like a really unique dish :)

The Red Bean Bag @ Publika

Jacq came back from Aussie last month and us girls decided to meet up at Publika for lunch! Amelia suggested The Red Bean Bag and off we go! I arrived earlier and sat down at this cosy restaurant. The environment was nice too :)

 

Ordered a cup of Granny's Garden tea and loved it! Jacq ordered the Ice Strawberry Tea

Sunflowers to brighten up your day?

Signature Breakfast with poached eggs, toasts, mushroom, tomatoes, bacon, sausages, hash brown and baked beans. Jacq's dish which I think taste wise was so-so only...

Specialty Baked Eggs... potatoes, tomatoes, beef and lamb all covered with cheese and baked to perfection! Served with bread too! This dish caught my attention while looking through the menu. Definitely had a hearty meal with this ^^

Amelia ordered Eggs Atlantic v2.0 which is absolutely amazing according to her! This was my other option too while I was deciding between the Specialty Baked Egg. Tried a small portion of it and this would be my to-order dish during my next visit :)

Went to Namoo Cafe for dessert after that to satisfy my craving for their Sweet Potato Cake!

Journal by Plan B @ Publika

 I'm sure most of you have heard of Plan B...it's one of the restaurants owned by The Big Group which includes Ben's, T forty two, Ben's General Food Store and more. I went to Journal by Plan B some time ago which was located in Publika. The menu is similar to Plan B :)

The interior :) The decorations outside looks more interesting actually with the chairs hanging on the wall!

Definitely a hearty meal to fill up your stomach. Felt full pretty quick with this...

This breakfast meal is so huge! My mom couldn't finish it after eating halfway. I guess this would be a good breakfast meal for the guys :) Its come with fresh orange juice and a choice of coffee or tea! If you're a small eater, definitely share this among 2 person.

Macadamia Caramel Cheesecake, RM13
It's rich in cheese and the topping of caramel blends with the soft texture of the cheesecake that melts into your mouth ^^

I went there before lunch hour so the service was alright. Just had a hard time getting the waiters. But I still love the desserts and food by Plan B. Hehe :P

A Day in Publika

 I know that I've been abandoning my blog again (^^;) Been busy with outings with friends and CNY that all I want to do is sleep when I get home. Well except surfing the net :P

Phin texted me one day and she told me Carmen's back frm Melb so we're gonna go meet up! Haven seen these girls for a long time! We hanged around Subang during the first week and then Publika! Ate a Ben's Grocer and walked around the store. Seriously, I've never seen so many foreign products and brands!

 Decided to head over to Marmalade Cafe for dessert after Ben's. Publika is a MAZE! Took us a long time to find where Marmalade is and it was pure luck! If we didn't go up a level higher, I don't think we would ever find it..haha. I prefer the one in Bangsar though :)

 I'm starving! :P
