Zero Spending with Samsung Galaxy Life @ Starlight Cinema

I have never not heard about Starlight Cinema before until I saw their ad on Facebook which piqued my interest to find out more about this event! It is actually an outdoor movie festival where besides screening movies, there is also food stalls and flea market to complete your outdoor cinema experience!

It would be advisible to bring a bigger mat if you are going with your friends so everyone can sit comfortably. If you want to lie down, no problem! Some people even bought their air mattress and bean bags. Whatever makes you comfortable, bring it along! :)

After picking a suitable spot, me and my friend, Grace went to hunt for food since we were feeling hungry.

A flea market at the side that sells clothes, accessories and more. Nice place to spend some time browsing through their items while waiting for the movie to start.

Besides free tickets, the next best thing about this event is that Samsung Galaxy users also get to redeem their food and beverages for FREE!!! There are many food vendors to choose from such as Gong Cha, Burger Lab, Bad Boy Cooks, Crazy Potato and more! You just need to press the redeem button via the app here http://bit.ly/1qBkr2r and then they will copy down the code and verify your redemption code. Remember, you only have 60 mins to redeem before the code expires, so it is best to redeem it when you are at the counter.

Another thing is that if you have already redeemed the voucher that day, you can redeem the same one the next day, as the T&C is that you only can redeem once a day for some vendors :D

It is best to arrive earlier to redeem your food beforehand as it takes time for the vendors to prepare the food.

Bumped into many bloggers as well but didn't have much time to take photos with them as everyone was busy redeeming their food before the movie starts! Managed to take a photo with Amelea while waiting for my fries to be done.

Surprise surprise! A proposal was done after one of the movie ended. Congratulations to the both of you!

Headed back home after watching Despicable Me as I was feeling tired already. It is a really busy month for work and I managed to squeeze some time out for Starlight Cinema and I did not regret it! It was definitely a fun experience and the weather wasn't too bad as well due to the chilly weather at night.

Went back the next day to watch Sound of Music with my friends. This time round, we picked a spot near the screen.

[The Butterfly Project x MrLens] Colourvue Contact Lens Review

Thanks to MrLens and Butterfly Project for the opportunity to review their products! My usual supply was depleting and the contact lenses from MrLens arrived just in time!

MrLens is a Swiss based company that was set up in 2002 to provide consumers with the convenience of shopping online with quality eye-care product, fast service and affordable prices. Today, they are the largest online contact lens reseller in Switzerland and major part of Europe. Of course, they have also set up this business in Asia few years ago which definitely brought convenience to the ever growing internet users and online shoppers. 

There are many varieties available on MrLens website such as Freshkon, Acuvue and some imported brands that is not available in local stores. Since I haven't wore coloured lens for a long time, I decided to choose two colour contact lens from ColourVUE.

The reason I chose this range is because of the natural looking colour that can be worn for everyday occasion that is not too drastic which makes it look unnatural. It has brown hues in it and violet at the outer ring which makes it really pretty! Besides that, the diameter is also another factor that I consider when buying contact lens as those big eyes, 16mm ones are too big for me. Most of the time, I opt for 14mm ones.

This is how the contact lens appear during the night. In dark surroundings, the lens will look more brown than violet. But when you are taking pictures with flash, the violet is more outstanding. It is pretty cool because it almost like a changeable coloured lens ;) I've been wearing this lens a lot especially for night time events as it is really soft and comfortable to wear.

Mini Flight Night at Prodigy KL ft. Mr Fluff!

Every Friday night at Prodigy KL, Filth Fortune will be the theme of the night where awesome beats are played for a awesome party experience with the ever energetic Mr. Fluff dishing out the both EDM and commercial heats. However, last Friday it was a changed of theme, where Mini Flight Night took its course with Mr. Fluff! It was in conjunction with the Red Bull Flight Night which will lead up to the Flight Night party in Genting Highlands this week!

Drinks of the night were vodka and Red Bull!

Malaysia Clothes Buffet @ Syopz Mall

Waking up on Saturday morning was definitely a challenge because I was out late the night before. Even so, I still managed to drag my ass out of the bed and head over to the Clothes Buffet event at Taylor's University. My session started at 10am and saw a few bloggers over there as well. As I have never been to the previous Clothes Buffet, it is good that they held it in Syopz Mall because there is more space for us to walk and choose the clothes instead of squeezing everyone together.

Everyone queued in a line while waiting for the session to start and the feeling was like starting a marathon run when u enter the buffet zone. With only 15 minutes in hand, the clothes selection, folding, and packing/stuffing must be done within the time limit. Luckily the crowd wasn't that huge so it was free and easy.

There is also an huge LED timer for us to keep track of time. Best to allocate 5 mins for your packing and if there's still space in the bag and time left, go grab some more! :) Some people are really pro in packing and the highest number of clothes packed was 15 pieces!

There is also an Aussino stock clearance sales happening at Syopz Mall. Since it started yesterday, there wasn't much choices left today. No single size bedsheets as mostly are king or queen :( Only managed to get some bolster case which was sold at a cheap price.

Got distracted to the bazaar side after that and since the shopping spirit has already been released, I also purchased some items at the stalls.

Affordable beauty box where you get 2 accessories, 2 face masks and 2 beauty product samples. It only costs RM10 but I did not purchase it. Haha...

So many adorable tapes! Always been tempted to buy these but haven't found a use for it yet so I did not purchase them.

A surprise blowout sale was held at 12pm-1pm and I managed to buy some more clothes. With so many clothes bought today...I definitely need to be on a shopping ban already. The weather was really hot in the morning and I was sweating buckets while rummaging through the clothes. It was fun though :)
