A few hours before Wong Fu!

Once Upon A Time There Was A Sausage Named Bob was opening for the Wong Fu Productions Live in Malaysia event so I decided to check out their soundcheck a few hours prior to the event. Dragged myself outta bed and headed over to Taylors. The soundcheck was suppose to be at 11am but the stage setting wasn't ready yet. So we all went for lunch at Wong Kok.

Decided to go ahead with the setup after lunch even though the LCD screen was not fully built yet. It's quite amazing to see how it's built. Hard work. The band proceeded with soundcheck. Sound system was okay, it made Esty's voice sound autotune-ish :/

Decided to make use of the still empty hall for a group photo!
Headed home after that to get a good rest before the event at night.

SAUSAGEFEST @ Laundry Bar, The Curve

SAUSAGEFEST was held twice to raise funds for StART Society that reaches out  to underprivileged children by helping them to nurture their talents in fine arts and performing arts.

I couldn't attend the one at The Bee due to assignments but I made it for the second one :D
Went off for dinner and came back when the first bank was playing.

Sausages were sold at RM3 per stick for charity & everyone was treated with band performances!

Everyone was pumped up with the band performances and buying sausages to help the kids. They managed to raise RM1.3k :D

Last but not least, the event ended with DJ Jee Hoe and DJ Bui Yen spinning. Love the tracks!

Urbanscapes 2011 @ Padang Astaka

Urbanscapes this year is held in Padang Astaka as compared to previous years at KLPAC. This would be my 4th Urbanscapes festival I have been to :)

Thanks to Junk, I won tickets for Urbanscapes this year. Brought Amelia along and we managed to find a parking spot inside! :D Girls being girls, the first spot we headed to was of course the Marketplace. Spent RM50 on 2 dresses :)

After lunch, we headed off to the Everyone Connects stage to watch our friend, Once Upon A Time There Was A Sausage Named Bob perform.

Though the venue was bigger this year, the field was pretty muddy so we basically just sat at The Bee most of the time chatting and enjoying music from the stage nearby.
