Future Music Festival Asia, the largest music festival in South East Asia is back in 2014! Instead of the usual two day festival, this year it is extended into three whole days! This will be beyond epic as the line up this year is really awesome line. I have been to FMFA 2012 & 2013 and will definitely not miss out on FMFA 2014!
Thanks to Manoah, I got to attend the Future Music Festival Asia (FMFA) 2014 full artists line up announcement last week at The View in G Tower Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Cocktails and Asahi were served throughout the event. The setup of the venue was really suiting to their safari theme with animal posters, paw prints on the floor and ambience music which transformed the place into a jungle like atmosphere.
Director of Livescape Asia, Iqbal Ameer giving a short speech to start off the press conference.
Memento was also given to FMFA 2014 sponsors to thank them for their support. The sponsors are Asahi Super Dry, Chivas Regal, Evian, Red Bull, iDarts, Dr Martens, Corntoz, Airbnb, KakaoTalk, Zalora, MyTeksi and Uber.
Moving on, the Future Music Festival Asia 2014 mobile app was presented by Iqbal. With this mobile app, users are able to check the schedule and line up for the day, purchase tickets, look at the venue map and also FMFA radio where you get to listen to the artist's tracks! Compared to the FMFA 2013 mobile app, there are more features in this one. I believe the interface will be much smoother :) It will be out sometime this week or next. Can't wait to download it!
Finally it is down to the exciting moment where everyone is waiting for. The second phase line up announcement! Click to watch the video below ;)
With headliners like Deadmau5 and Armin Van Buuren for the first two days, everyone screamed when Pharrell Williams was announced was Day 3! The other acts are Chase and Status, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Rudimental, Tinie Tempah, Yuna and many more! I'm really curious on what Yuna has to offer on stage since FMFA is mostly a rave. But nonetheless, I really look forward to her set!
Future Music Festival Asia will be held from March 13 until March 15 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium. The first and second release of FMFA tickets are already sold out. Hurry up and get your tickets to not miss out on this awesome music festival!
Tickets can be purchased at local outlets like Rock Corner, Victoria Music, Artist Gallery, KL Life Centre, Tune Store, AirAsia Travel Service Centre or online via AirAsia RedTix and Galactix Asia.
