Obanhmi @ Damansara Uptown

One of my friend have been raving to me about this place since last year. Damansara Uptown, being a place where parking is like striking Toto is quite a hassle as parking is always filled. The first time I went, there wasn't a parking spot after a few turns so I had no choice but to give up. However, I finally found a parking spot during my second visit! *happy*

I have been dying to try Vietnamese baguette ever since I went to Hanoi last year. I didn't get to try during my trip there as my mom forbade me to have those sold on roadside because it was pretty dusty and lots of motorcycle fumes around :/ Honestly, I don't see much of a problem in it but parents will always be concerned about the health of their child. Finally with Obanhmi opened here in KL, I get to have some Vietnamese baguette!

Since it was during lunchtime on a weekday, there wasn't much crowd around so orders were processed really fast. They have also added new stuff to their menu!

Simple decor with a cosy setting.

Ice Lemon Tea, RM3.50
Not your typical ice lemon tea. It's Vietnamese style which is refreshing and not too sweet!

O Sunny, RM9.20
Friend opted out with the ham since she was in a vegetarian diet.

O BBQ, RM8.20
Fresh baguette with BBQ pork, egg, homemade mayonnaise, pickled carrot & radish and Vietnamese chili sauce. The BBQ pork taste is nicely blended out with the pickled radish and chili sauce that I like!

  1. Wow! I also went to Hanoi last year and did not manage to try the baguette! LOL! Good now I can go try this one! But I hate the parking there! OK, maybe will go in the evening - at least more parking spaces. So were the baguettes any good? :)
