November Beauty Haul

It's December already! Time flies... Been really busy with work and hardly have time to update blogs nowadays. Lots of cafe post to write but let me share with you some of the products that I have collectively bought for the past 2 months.

1. Little Deer Charcoal Tea Tree & Lemon Soap
Stumbled across the Little Deer brand when I was at the bazaar in Publika. All ingredients used are all natural and it is 100% handmade. Only at RM20, they also include a soap pouch for easier lathering. Can be used on both face and body! I choose this charcoal soap as it helps in detox, clarifying, absorbing dirt and unclog pores from the skin. They have many other range of soaps as well which can be found on their website at www.littledeersoap.com.

2. Batiste Dry Shampoo
I always find the dry shampoo sold in Sephora on the pricey side. Imagine my delight when I found out that Bastiste Dry Shampoo is finally sold in Malaysia! Choose the original one as I felt the other ones were more heavy on the fragrance. Purchase it at RM24.90 if I am not mistaken. Only one size available which is 200ml. I saw 100ml ones being sold on ASOS long time ago...hopefully they will bring in 100ml ones as well so it is easier to pack while traveling. Loving it so far! I purchased this from Aeon Big but it also can be found in Jaya Grocer :)

3. MISSHA Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence
Been eyeing this product for the longest time ever since I saw reviews that this is a dupe for the famous SK-II Pitera Essence. Unfortunately, MISSHA does not have their counters in Malaysia anymore and I was lucky to find a MISSHA store while traveling in Siem Reap, Cambodia.  Initially it was sold at 60USD, which I was reluctant to pay such a steep price since Korea does not sell it that expensive. However, they were having 30% off all products in the store so I took the opportunity to buy it since it is justifiable with the price in Korea with a few dollars difference. I have been using it for 2-3 weeks now so will post up a more detailed review soon.

4. MISSHA Natural Konjac Cleansing Puff
Decided to try this out since it was priced at 4.50USD before discount as I have seen a couple of cleansing puff on the market for the past few months. This cleansing puff is made from Konjac plant which is effective in cleansing and exfoliating the skin. It is very soft and does not irritate my skin!

5. MISSHA Pure Source Sheet Mask
100% pure cotton sheet mask with serum on natural ingredients. I went with the lemon one since sitting on the tuk tuk for a couple of hours made my skin quite oily and clogged up due to the dusts and sand. This mask helps with sebum and pore care.

[May Beauty Haul] Estee Lauder Staff Sale

I am going to start off this post with some serious complaining because it is inevitable. This year, I managed to head over to the Estee Lauder Staff Sale again and the usual routine with my friends is to head over there early to queue. We arrived about 3am was pretty shocked to see people standing up queueing in the wee hours of the morning because in the previous locations, we were allowed to sit down and wait while the doors open. However, this year in Berjaya Times Square Hotel it was the other way round. Those who came to queue early would know because the security and managers kept emphasizing that it is their hotel rule that we are not allowed to sit or eat at the vicinity. Luckily we were allowed to drink water if not there will be some serious problem there. Some came to queue around midnight were forced to stand for about 5 hours!!! It felt like a detention camp!

I understand that hotels have their own rules but like what my friend said as a hotel, instead of making people feel at eased or being hospitable to customers, the situation was hostile and everyone was pretty much irritated and angry at the hotel management. And the thing is that they kept saying that they are 'different' from other hotels where their standards are different, which doesn't help at all because based on their standards that day in terms of hospitality, it was a major disaster. Finally about 5am when EL management discussed with the hotel to let us sit and wait, we were lead to the foyer area next to the hall which was the original area where everyone was supposed to head to. I don't even understand why in the first place that the hotel decided to cordon the entire entrance to the hall and make us stand at the lift area. I hope that EL does not hold their sales at Berjaya ever again.

Now back to the main purpose of the blog post, which was to share with you my haul from the Estee Lauder Staff Sale! After hours of waiting, we finally get to enter the hall at 8AM after the VIPs who went in an hour earlier. This years haul was mostly skin care where I got Clinique for myself and Estee Lauder products for my mom as I still have the lipsticks and other makeup that I bought from last year which I haven't used up yet. Plus, this year's item were more pricey for the perfume and selection wise, there wasn't much items that caught my interest.

1. Estee Lauder Optimizer
Mom asked to buy this for her again since she finished her previous bottle.

2. Estee Lauder Take It Away Gentle Eye & Lip Remover

3. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye
One of the products that I love but too strong for me if I use it constantly. Bought this for my mom instead.

4. Clinique Clarifying Lotion
One of my favourite toner from Clinique. They didn't have this last year and was happy to see it being on sale this year :D

5. Clinique Moisture Surge
Another gem found as it wasn't on sale last time as well. Really love this moisture surge hydrating gel as it keeps my skin well moisturized. Even though you are supposed to use this after moisturizer, I felt that it suits my skin better when I use it alone instead of slapping on too many stuff that can clog my pores. I accidentally dropped my previous bottle and wasted the product....so sad ._. But now, I'm glad to have it back!

6. Clinique Even Better Concealer
Since my Sephora concealer palette is diminishing, decided to purchase this sine it was only RM40! :D

Headed back to Ipoh with my parents after the sale and literally KO-ed in the car!

What beauty products did you get this month?

xoxo

April Beauty Haul + Giveaway

 photo DSC_4564-2.jpg
Time is really flying by! Just a few days till end of April and the water rationing problem is still not solved till now. Problems aside, I would like to share with you some of the beauty products that I have purchased this month! As Hada Labo was having their promotion in AEON One Utama, I managed to grab a few products and also some new ones to try it out!

1. Hada Labo AHA + BHA Foaming Wash
Said to be good in removing impurities and cleanses the pores well. I have tried the face wash version before but not this foaming type. Friend said the foaming face wash is better so I decided to check it out! Gotta finish up my current face wash first though!

2. Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion
Since I have oily skin, I decided to try this to prevent clogged pores and breakouts. Although it is recommended to be used daily, I only use it for 2 times a week to test it out first so my skin does not get too irritated by the change of products. Will slowly up it to daily use, but first I need to restock my cotton wipes from Daiso.

3. Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion
I have been using the Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion and decided to buy the whitening type after finishing the previous bottle as this range helps to fight dark spots. As I don't always apply sunblock which is a bad habit, this is another step into the routine to help combat the dark sports in the future!

4. Hada Labo Moisturizing Perfect Gel
This is one of the latest product that was launched a couple of months back. It is a multipurpose 3-in-1 gel that can be used as an essence, sleeping mask, and moisturizer. As my Laneige Sleeping Mask is almost empty, I can't wait to try this out!

5. Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Cleansing Oil
My favourite makeup remover so far and the currently bottle I am using has about a quarter left. Since there was a promotion, I took the opportunity to restock the cleansing oil :)

6. OXY Oil Control Toner
Been using this for a couple of weeks before purchasing all the Hada Labo lotion. This is my current daily toner. Love the scent of this toner as it is a special blend of 8 plant extracts that helps with oil control.

7. Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliner
Since my liquid eyeliner went dry towards the end, I purchased the Miss Hana Gel Eyeliner from Natta Cosme as many of my beauty blogger friends were raving about this product. Review will be up soon!

8. Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover
After emptying the Etude House Makeup Remover, I decided to purchase one from Zalora website as they just brought in the Sephora brand on their website and I had a voucher to use :D Loving it so far!

9. Sephora Professional Cubic Sharpener
Never had one and most of the time I use my mom's and it was quite flimsy so I finally gotten my own one to sharpen my gel eyeliner pencil :)

January Beauty Haul

Though I don't purchase beauty products all the time, I think it will be great to share with you on the beauty products that I have collectively purchase throughout this month. My parents went over to the UK for a holiday, so I took the opportunity and asked them to get me some products that is not available here in Malaysia. However, it was during the holiday season so must of the stuff were out of stock, therefore it is quite a small haul :)

1. Lush Angels On Bare Skin Face & Body Cleanser
With natural ingredients like lavender, chamomile and essential oils, I love the smell of this product! The best thing about this cleanser the multipurpose function where it can be used on the face and also the body! It's to be used within 3 months, so probably I would do a review on this :)

2. Lush Soaps
Fruity & sweet scent filled up my room as I opened the packaging. One of it is called Karma and the other one is probably Miranda. Both smells amazingly good and I can't wait to use it after using up the body cleanser!

3. Real Techniques Stippling Brush
This dual fiber stippling brush  creates airbrushed, high definition results with all types of makeup. I use this mostly to apply BB cream as it gives an even application. Sometimes when applying cream blusher, I use this brush to blend the blush properly as well :)

4. Real Techniques Power Brush
Love this big, soft and fluffy power brush that applies on powder evenly!

5. Real Techniques Shading Brush
A really soft brush that is great for blending eyeshadow. I really look forward to getting my hands on more Real Techniques brushes soon!

6. Nivea Visage 3-in-1 Daily Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Wipes
Came to know about this product while watching YouTube videos. It was an ad that played for quite a long time which honestly is quite boring. However, I decided to purchase this product from Watsons as it was on sales and the 2 different surfaces of the wipes is really intriguing. Plus, I think it will be great to add another step to my makeup removing regime.

7. Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack
I ran out of eye cream for some time and couldn't decide which brand to go for next. The email from Sephora came just in time as they featured this product in their newsletter. For RM81, I think this eye cream is really reasonable and the gel texture is lightweight which I really like because I am not suited for heavy moisturizing eye cream.

8. NYX Retractable Lip Liner
Decided to try out lip liner since I did not have one before! Plus, NYX is quite affordable so I bought one in Sephora from RM19. Retractable is great since I don't need to sharpen it constantly, but with retractable I think it will loose its shape in time as well. Oh well, there are pros and cons!

That is all for my January beauty haul! What beauty products did you get?
