I have heard about Shizens before but never actually tried their products. Thanks to Butterfly Project Malaysia, I got to try out Shizens star product which is the Lip Tattoo!

What is a lip tattoo? If you search the term 'lip tattoo' on google you will actually see images of people having tattoo's on their lips which is kinda scary but don't worry, Shizens Lip Tattoo does not hurt at all!

Shizens Lip Tattoo consists of a special white colour formula that when applied on, transforms your lips into a lovely natural pink or rosy tone. It also adds a spread of moisture and relieves the formation of fine lines.

The rose gold packaging is gorgeous and the applicator makes it easy to apply onto the lips. For hygiene purpose, it is best to apply it onto the back of your hand and then use your fingers or cotton bud to apply it onto your lips. Reason being is that we humans carry bacteria especially at the mouth area which may affect the effectiveness of the product after some time.

From a clear white formula, the product slowly change into a lovely shade of pink! Before applying the Lip Tattoo, I will apply a layer of lip balm first to lock the moisture in as the lip tattoo can be drying when applied directly onto the lips.

Usually lip products tend to fade away or go off after a few hours or when you eat and drink but with Shizens Lip Tattoo, the product actually lasts almost the whole day! So there is no need to reapply constantly! I also love the fact that the colour is really natural, which makes it suitable for all occasions :)

Shizens Lip Tattoo retails at RM168 and you can find their stores here: http://bit.ly/1IQTFwp

Dove School of Skindulgence Launch

Thanks to Butterfly Project, I was invited to the launch of Dove's Skindulgence campaign launch. The purpose of the launch of the Skindulgence is to encourage women to indulge and pamper themselves everyday in the comfort of their home, without spending a bomb.

 photo DSC_3458-2.jpg
Based on a survey done by Dove Body Wash, amongst 108 women aged between 18-35, time and money are the biggest hurdles in pampering oneself on a regular basis. I could definitely relate to that because after starting out in the workforce, you'll have more commitments and responsibility on your plate and it does not get easier. Often, when I am too focused on work, I will sleep late and skip meals which is very bad for the health. Even though I wish to go for a spa or massage, I would refrain from doing so because everything is so expensive and with the inflation of goods, you'll have to tighten your belt and be careful on what you spend on.

 photo DSC_3469-2.jpg
Dove Body Wash with Nutrium Moisture has a unique blend of moisturizing and nourishing ingredients that helps to restore the moisture back into your skin while bathing. This is a form of pampering the skin as well! Dove Body Wash with Nutrium Mosture is available at RM22.90 for 1 litres in the variants of Beauty Nourishing, Gentle Exfoliating, Sensitive Skin, Fresh Touch, Energize and Revive.

 photo DSC_3475-1.jpg
Besides that, Dove also encourages women to take a further step in pampering themselves through the Dove School of Skindulgence's three pillars of pledge which is to eat right, stay active and pamper yourself. Doing all these things is also benefiting your body! Simple steps of eating food with good nutrients, keeping fit by exercising and love yourself can make you feel renewed, refreshed and of coursed, well nourished skin. When you're happy, your skin is happy too! ;D

 photo DSC_3481-2.jpg
At the event, bloggers and the press were given cards that seperates them into groups to educate them on one of the three pillars of School of Skindulgence. I got into Group C, which is to stay active! I think the card is secretly telling me to start my workout routine again because I haven't been exercising for a while!

The trainer taught us some basic moves on stretching to prevent muscle aches because we spend most of our time working behind a computer and sitting in for long hours. The session was pretty quick so we got to check out what the other groups were doing as well!

Group B was in a setting of a bathroom.

 photo DSC_3494-2.jpg
They were showing the different between using a milk bath and Dove Body Wash, where Dove has a higher moisturizing level after applying and washing it of the skin. To me, milk bath is very expensive and it is quite weird to waste milk for bathing because milk is so expensive! Dove Body Wash on the other hand, is affordable so I am eager to include this in my routine!

 photo DSC_3507-2.jpg
Group A was the most exciting one because they get to cook! Not really cooking, but just mixing in ingredients as per the instruction of the chef. I love food, so this really appealed to me. Lol.

 photo DSC_3504-2.jpg
Participants were provided with ingredients and ready made sauce for them to mix it in! Eating right is one of the pillar in Dove's School of Skindulgence and therefore, it is important in choosing with right ingredients to make yourself a wholesome meal that is full of nutrients!

 photo DSC_3510-2.jpg
Dove had a second round of cooking demonstration so I decided to join! Couldn't miss out the chance because it was fun! Was a little confuse on the steps because the chef spoke a little too fast. Luckily there's the assistant chef to guide us and we completed our dish!

You'll have to share one photo every day via Instagram hastags, with a total of 21 photos by the end of your pledge on how you take care of yourself at home!

The challenge ends on 30th April and be quick to participate, as Dove will be rewarding winners each week based on their creativity on each activity where you get to win a hamper of Dove Body Wash worth RM100! There will also be 10 grand prize winner announced at the end of the contest where they get to jet off to a 3D2N island getaway in Krabi!

Butterfly Project Christmas Party @ Sekeping Sin Chew Kee

DSC_1539
On the 21st of December, the Butterfly Project held a potluck Christmas party at Sekeping Sin Chew Kee which is located near Swiss Garden Hotel. Luckily I had waze to guide me through the area as I have only been nearby once. Unforfunately, it was raining heavily that evening so I did not take many outdoor shots as I've hope as the place is really nice. From the outside, you won't notice that it is actually a retreat place until you look closely at the signboard.

The Butterfly team had also put in effort to decorate the place nicely and make it cosy and feeling festive for the Christmas party. Placed under the tree are Christmas gifts for us attendees! The products inside are from Bisou Bon Bon which is lovely :D

It was nice to sit outside during the light rain as it is very cooling, until you start getting attacked by mosquitos...then it's time to head inside xD

Since it's potluck style, many of us bloggers brought food! Imagine the amount of food brought over as there was more than 40 people who attended the event. We had so much food ranging from appetizers, side dishes, salads, mains and desserts! We were spoilt with all the choices of food and until the end of event there was still leftovers.

123 Cheese photobooth was also there for the night for us bloggers to take memorable photos :D Everyone had fun taking pictures and making use of the props.

It was a great night catching up with old friends and meeting new ones as I have been quite inactive for a while. Nice to meet new bloggers :D

Before I forget, we had a gift exchange session during the party and I received Too Faced Jingle All The Way Palette from Shivani which is absolutely gorgeous! This is a unique palette as it is a pop-out palette with an iPhone 5 casing. How I wish I own a iPhone 5 now because the cover is just too pretty. I can't wait to try out the makeup palette too :D

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

*************************************************************

The Butterfly Project - Beauty Bloggers is also having a giveaway right now especially for Sephora lovers! The contest is ending on 12th May (Sunday, 6pm), so if you want to join, hurry and click here for the details as you need to blog about the MIGP Expo as well! It's very easy :D

Hopefully I can be one of the lucky winners to receive Sephora goodies or have a shopping spree! Ultimately I would love to have my Sephora wish list fulfilled! *hint hint* xD

Take a look at my Sephora wish list below!

1. Clarisonic Mia 2
The Clarisonic has been on my list for some time now but still haven't get the chance to buy it yet because of the price tag! The Mia 2 is also more portable and convenient to bring around compared to the original one. Plus this one comes in really pretty colours too :D How can I resist it? The one in Seabreeze is my favourite! Heard a lot of good reviews about the Clarisonic Mia 2 and I would like to own one too! Giving my face a good deep cleansing/scrub with the Mia 2 will definitely leave my skin really clean. I want to achieve a flawless skin :D

2. Sephora Deluxe Standing Easel Brush Set
Every girl needs a good brush set! Plus this can be transformed into a standing easel, which is more hygienic as I do not need to put my brush on the surface.

3. Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Gel
Would love to have this as my inborn eye bags makes me look tired all the time! Especially when I do not get enough sleep, I would look like a racoon. With this eye gel, it would really help to depuff my eye bags especially in the mornings as it contains caffine, oxygen and Vitamin C! Plus, eye gel is more suitable for my skin so I won't get oil seeds for this :D

4. Josie Maran Model Citizen Argan Oil Hair Serum with Radiance
They always say hair is a woman's crowning glory. Unfortunately, my hair is on the thick, dry and coarse side. I envy people with silky smooth hair! Argan oil has been proven to have a lot of benefits and with this hair serum, I hope to have soft and manageable hair.

5. Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Bath & Body Collection
I got to know about the Laura Mercier Bath & Body Collection from one of my favourite Youtube beauty guru, Tanya Burr when she mentioned the Fresh Fig body creme as her favourite. This bath & body collection will definitely go into my self pampering weekend after a busy week of work. It consists of, honey bath, scrub and body creme. I would literally be in cloud 9 if I get to use these products, smells really nice too!

What's your Sephora wish list? ;D
