Butterfly Project turns 4 this year! As usual there is a celebration held to commemorate the milestone achieved with the Butterfly Project bloggers. I did not miss the chance to get my invitation too since it has been a while that I have met up with them :)

Yellow & floral headband was the theme and everyone dressed up! Was contemplating what to wear and I manage to find a yellow top to suit the colour theme :) The party was held at Hello Deer at Damansara Uptown.

Time flies! It doesn't seem like too long ago when I first attended the first ever tea party hosted by The Butterfly Project Malaysia. Now, it is already the 3rd year anniversary of The Butterfly Project and the community has expanded ever since! :)

2015 Weekend Spa Routine

I always treasure my weekends as time seems like fly by especially when I am busy working. Most of the time, my weekends are spent recuperating at home or spending time with my family. Personal well-being is definitely one of my top priorities in life! Pampering myself makes me feel good :)

Starting off with my crown jewel, Biolange SmoothProof cleanses my hair and controls the frizz, which gives me smooth hair all day! Of course, I will need to use the conditioner & serum as well. It wouldn't work with just shampoo alone! Moving on, I will use the Garnier Sakura White Pink Radiance Gentle Cleaning Foam as it deeply cleanses my skin. Just a pea size and it really lathers well and the scent is lovely too! This formula is suitable for sensitive skin which is suitable for me as it does not irritate my skin :) A moisturizer is very important after cleansing the face which the Garnier Sakura White Pinkish Radiance Moisturizing Cream provides with a blend of Sakura Extracts, Vitamin B3 and Vitamin CG to nourish the skin deeply and help to lighten the skin tone and dark spots. It also has SPF21 properties which is great for day time usage.

To boost the skin's moisture, I will apply the Glam Glow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment which is a hydrating mask that provides deep instant hydration. The product looks creamy but when applied on, it goes on smoothly. It does have a sticky feeling though but it's not uncomfortable or anything. I also experience a tingling/cooling sensation after a few minutes. It contains many moisturizing ingredients like ground olive leaf, coconut oil, honey blossom honey and ginger root, botanimoist ams, hydraclay, oat beta glucan, hyaluronic acid and citric acid. Usually, I just apply it on for about 20 minutes and then wipe it off with a warm cloth instead of leaving it on the whole night.

Face masks is essential to lock in the moisture and let the skin further absorb the benefits! Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask does the job by further hydrating the skin. It contains the next generation 3D hyaluronic acid which claims to hydrate the skin from beneath the surface for 24 hours of long lasting moisture retention. I can't vouch for the 24 hours moisture thing but my skin definitely feels softer, smoother and plumped after putting on the mask for 15 minutes! Another option is the Nature Republic Snail Solution Hydrogel Mask Sheet. Snail extract is a popular ingredient in Korean skincare products which claims to regenerate cells and moisturize the skin. This mask really sits well onto the skin due to the texture of the gel mask which also gives a cool feeling to the skin without the need of putting it into the fridge first!

Not forgetting the body, it also needs some additional moisture to keep the skin smooth and moisturized! I take in particular consideration for the hands as it is constantly exposed to all forms of elements! The L'occitane En Provence hand cream is really handy for me to bring around to keep my hand constantly moisturized and the scent is lovely too! I would also apply the hand cream on the dry area of my elbows as well!

To keep myself refreshed throughout the day, I always carry around the Always 21 Aloe Vera Soothing Gel Mist which contains 96% of aloe vera. Especially under the air conditioned environment, the skin tends to get dry and this gel mist helps to keep my skin moisturized and refreshed. Not forgetting the unforgiving hot weather lately, I also use it to sooth my skin from the heat.

INDULGE, the first luxury cinema in TGV 1 Utama

When the word 'cinema' comes to mind, you will think of long queues for tickets, occasionally uncomfortable seatings, and rushing to get the best seats so you don't have to suffer the consequences of seating in the front row which will result in neck ache.

TGV Cinemas recently launched two exclusive cinema halls that comes with its own private ticketing counter, lounge and dining area! Indulge is TGV Cinemas' latest unique cinema concept that represents the essence of style coupled together with the concept of cinema.

Thank to Butterfly Project for organizing the Butterfly Girls Night Out where we get to indulge in a fun night of luxury with food, chatter and movie. It was great catching up with the bloggers as I have not been to a number of Butterfly Project event for a while now due to work and I am glad to have joined the event! Everyone was dressed very glamorous and sexy as the theme was dress to kill!

Indulge is located inside TGV One Utama itself, where at a moment you will forget that you are actually in a cinema due to the lounge setting that welcomes you with the soft jazzy tones.

I love the fact that Indulge serves food so that you don't have to walk around thinking what to eat and then rushing back to the cinema when the movie is starting. You can just chill and eat comfortably while waiting for the movie to start.

While waiting for the food to be served, we took some pictures at the 123 Cheese photo booth where we had a fun choosing props and doing silly poses!

Besides the photo booth, Muse by Watsons was there to showcase the skincare brand 'Indeed Laboratories' where we got to take back one of the product with us. There products that was introduced were:

1. Nanoblur - skin perfecting cream that minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores

2. Pepta-Bright - a moisture rich cream that helps reduce the appearance of dark spots while promoting overall skin radiance.

3. Retinol Reface - A deritative of vitamin A that is considered to be one of the most effective ingredients to help reduce visible signs of aging.

After our delicious meal, the winners for the best dressed were announced! They get to bring back products from Muse by Watsons.

We then moved on to the cinema hall to watch the movie.


The cinema hall is really impressive with spacious seats that is fitted with reclining chairs!

They even have a mini table at the side which enables you bring food in via the personalized call-waiter-service.

Another amazing thing is these lovely blankets at Indulge that keep you warm when enjoy a movie. Most of the time, cinema halls are freezing which is not helpful to people like me who are afraid of the cold where even one layer of jacket does not help which sometimes spoil my mood as I am feeling cold most of the time and not able to enjoy my movie. With this blanket, it keeps me warm and I am able to snuggle up comfortably and enjoy my movie without worrying about getting frozen!

Movie buddy of the night - Cindy! We have both watched Lucy before so we were sat comfortably while discussing certain parts that we don't understand. It's a nice movie but some parts were quite confusing to me. Overall, it was a great night out with everyone from the Butterfly Project and of course being in Indulge itself was a whole new cinematic experience :)

[The Butterfly Project x MrLens] Colourvue Contact Lens Review

Thanks to MrLens and Butterfly Project for the opportunity to review their products! My usual supply was depleting and the contact lenses from MrLens arrived just in time!

MrLens is a Swiss based company that was set up in 2002 to provide consumers with the convenience of shopping online with quality eye-care product, fast service and affordable prices. Today, they are the largest online contact lens reseller in Switzerland and major part of Europe. Of course, they have also set up this business in Asia few years ago which definitely brought convenience to the ever growing internet users and online shoppers. 

There are many varieties available on MrLens website such as Freshkon, Acuvue and some imported brands that is not available in local stores. Since I haven't wore coloured lens for a long time, I decided to choose two colour contact lens from ColourVUE.

The reason I chose this range is because of the natural looking colour that can be worn for everyday occasion that is not too drastic which makes it look unnatural. It has brown hues in it and violet at the outer ring which makes it really pretty! Besides that, the diameter is also another factor that I consider when buying contact lens as those big eyes, 16mm ones are too big for me. Most of the time, I opt for 14mm ones.

This is how the contact lens appear during the night. In dark surroundings, the lens will look more brown than violet. But when you are taking pictures with flash, the violet is more outstanding. It is pretty cool because it almost like a changeable coloured lens ;) I've been wearing this lens a lot especially for night time events as it is really soft and comfortable to wear.

Spa Party by The Butterfly Project Malaysia

If you remember about the spa party that I have wayyyy back in June, here's my post about the spa party! Haven't been active blogging as I was swarmed with work. Was so tired that I lost the motivation to blog for a while. But now I am back again, since I love writing and sharing stuff to you guys. It's been a rough fews months of not being to blog, like a part of me of missing. So, I will try to blog once in a while as it keeps me happy too :)

Anyway, back to the topic. The Spa Party was held in Posh Nail Spa in TTDI and it was decorated with lovely balloons and paper flowers which made the place really pretty!

And here we have our wall of fame that includes that sponsors of the spa party :D

 Finger food by Good Friends Cafe. I didn't get to eat until towards the end of the event as I was busy getting my mani, pedi and massage done while also catching up with the bloggers. Love the pink burger!

 Many prizes were given out that day and also fotobox for photo sessions! I forgot how many times I went to the fotobox already. Glad to be able to take so many photos and memories with alot of people and also meeting new friends :)

Sugar Scrub and Lotion that is made by Posh Nail Spa themselves. It smells divine too especially with the waterlily being one of the main ingredients.

Besides that, we were given a sneak peek of Pink n Proper's collection and the outfit were modeled by the lovely bloggers.

Made my own bath salt too! It's really easy to make especially the ingredients being all natural.

Bought quite a number of TT Mash as it was on discount that day! I really love their mask as it it moisturizing and also effective.
